The new full automatic grid generator for turbomachinery from NUMECA Int.

NUMECA Int. is proud to announce the first industrial full automatic grid generator for turbomachinery, reducing drastically the set-up time of your CFD simulations. IGG/AUTOGRID, as an addition to the general grid generator IGG from NUMECA Int., offers the unique capability of creating, high quality, complex turbo-machinery grids (with local orthogonality to solid walls) in a few minutes, at a simple click.

IGG/AUTOGRID does not require any expertise in grid generation nor tedious manipulations.

IGG/AUTOGRID offers:

  • direct connection to the CAD definition of the geometry
  • automatic creation of flow path extensions and blade-to-blade grids on surfaces of revolution

For more flexibility, AUTOGRID also offers interactive control on the upstream and downstream blade extensions as well as grid points clustering. The modified settings are automatically recorded into a script file and will apply for all following automatic grid generations, until the next modification.
