Scrubbers

Cross-flow Scrubbers

Cross-flow scrubbers are used universally for many air pollution problems. The main advantages are their great flexibility and low cost of operation.

Difficult pollution problems can be solved with:

  • Multi-stage units

  • Combined biological and chemical treatment

  • And/or electrostatical-ionizing.

Counter-current Scrubbers

 Counter-current scrubbers are preferably used for air streams with few and similar contaminants. It is a low cost and compact device offering an optimal contact between gas and washing liquid. Thus a heat transfer is obtained which permits heating or cooling of the treated air as required.

Counter-current Scrubbers

The counter-current scrubber uses a chemical treatment to eliminate contaminants. It is the most economical solution, using the least space, for many air pollution problems. For example, ammonia, chlorine and hydrochloric acid gases can be eliminated to 99% and more.

 Cross-flow Scrubbers

Contaminated air passes horizontally through one (or several) sprinkled tower packing beds. By adding chemicals to the washing liquid, acidic or basic contaminants can be removed at the same time. The principal advantages are a reduced loss of pressure, a reduced energy consumption and reduced maintenance cost.

Tower Packing

Our tower packings (Spiral-Rosettes) are highly efficiency packings, specially developed for air treatment and gas absorption.

Biological Filters

Natural treatment of contaminated air. Unpleasant odours and many contaminants are eliminated. Within the biological active filtering-mass contaminants are decomposed to water and carbon dioxide. It is a positive environmental system, with low cost of operation.
